Title: Security Awareness Training, Spiritual Awareness Training: A Comparison
Synopsis: Does security awareness training work? As security professionals we’re always interested in learning new techniques to deliver better security. For Christians, the Lord always serves as our inspiration in both in His messages as well as His actions.
The purpose of this discussion is to evaluate Jesus’ use of parables to deliver God’s Message and how we can emulate delivery method to deliver better security awareness training. Jesus’ use of parables is just as spiritually educational today as it was during His life on earth. These stories are timeless messages of forgiveness, love, redemption and salvation. Emulating Jesus’ “Spiritual Awareness Training” parables may be the key to delivering effective security awareness training.

Mr. Moore is an active member of ISSA, ISACA and InfraGard and has written numerous articles on information security and software development. He is an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
