Abstract:
Trust is not inherent in Information Security professionals. We tend to take things apart to see how they work. We hack into them to make sure that they will work. We make you prove that what you are doing is working. But in isolation we simply cannot get on top of the issues that face our security and risk management programs. We need to share information in order to gain the visibility we need into the threats we face. But sharing cannot occur without a degree of trust. Come explore how trust but verify in information security validates how the only true trustworthy person is the person of our savior Jesus. In God we trust, all others we monitor.
