Abstract:
Why is it so difficult to evangelize our message of security to senior leaders? Likewise, why do we often find it challenging to evangelize the message of Jesus Christ to our friends and family? Compared to the complicated topic of information security, the gospel message is a pretty straightforward one…so why is it so hard when we try and explain it to others?
In the “Teach Security” part of this talk, we will discuss practical tips that can be used to effectively prepare and communicate your security message with senior leadership. In the “Teach Christ” part of this talk, we will learn how to easily explain the message of salvation to others, using the popular Evangelism Explosion approach. In the “Teach Security in Christ” portion of the talk, we will demonstrate some practical illustrations for helping you effectively share the gospel with others and how you can overcome some of your personal anxiety when doing so.
